OUR MISSI N
The Phil Reddy Jr. Memorial Fund was created in honor of our son, brother, and dear friend Phil (Phizzle) who passed away on September 3, 2020. He relished the opportunity to help others and exuded positive energy in everything he did and was a big advocate for fitness and athletics. Therefore, in his honor, all donations received will go to support his local community with a focus on the Boys & Girls Club of Salem and supporting their athletic department and Bishop Fenwick High School to provide scholarships to deserving students.
ABOUT PHIL REDDY JR.
Phil Reddy Jr. was born on November 24, 1980, to happy and proud parents Phil Sr. and Roberta Reddy.
Born in Salem and raised in Salem and Peabody. Phil was always a happy-go-lucky, full of energy child with an infectious smile. Phil touched more people than we will ever know and accomplished more than he realized. A people person, he was always bringing groups of friends together and creating new, life-long friendships as well as acquiring the nickname “Phizzle”.
At a young age, Phil participated in many youth sports from karate where he won a Regional Championship, little league baseball, and basketball, and thru his college years playing soccer. Phil even showed his pet hound dog “Mitch” who won the New England Junior Showmanship trophy. He also loved playing golf and participating in local softball leagues any chance he could. Phil attended St. John's Grammar School, Bishop Fenwick High School, and graduated from Salem State College in 2004.
After graduating, he became an expert in Personal Fitness as a trainer working through the Boston area. Phil loved helping people attain their fitness goals and his favorite was to work and support his partner Marisa and his brother Daniel.
